Services

Who?
We work with individuals, couples, adults, children, teens, and families. Whether you’re having individual internal conflict, unrest with your partner or you’re having family tension, we work to help you find healthier functioning.

What?
We focus on whatever it is that you feel is disrupting your peace.  Whether it’s a life adjustment such as divorce, death, difficulties at work, or just generally needing to cope with lifes pressures, we aim to help you identify the underlying causes and help you towards making positive change.

When?
We provide services Monday through Friday at various times (usually between 8am & 8pm) depending on therapist availability and location.

Where?
Therapy sessions can occur via Teletherapy (video session) or in-person in our Edgewood office (we recently closed our Albuquerque office in January 2023).  Established clients can even choose other locations if they prefer therapy in a non-traditional setting such as the outdoors.

Why?
I am passionate about being compassionate. I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard. We all have experiences and vulnerabilities that should not diminish our worth (in our own eyes nor in the eyes of others). I approach my clients with understanding and patience. I always listen attentively with kindness as I nurture your insight.  I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and children in all areas including drug abuse, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and parents/children involved in the child welfare system. I also enjoy helping parents become better parents.

How?
We offer many different person centered approaches in therapy and we tend to use an eclectic mix to suit the clients needs/goals.  Some popular modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Trauma Focused, Solution Focused therapy,  etc.  We also use modalities that can help with dialectical thinking, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. We are certified in Circle of Security Parenting and are trained in the Nurtured Heart parenting approach.
We are hoping to offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy in the future.
